We are well-equipped to support all your vacuum casting and silicone molding requirements. Backed by extensive professional expertise in this sector, we deliver high-quality components with strict standards and efficient lead times.

Vacuum casting is a highly effective solution for producing both rigid and flexible components, making it perfectly suited for prototype verification, mechanical testing, concept validation, and product display. Utilizing hundreds of advanced casting resins, we can satisfy diverse performance specifications across various applications.

What is Vacuum Casting?

Vacuum casting, often referred to as silicone molding or prototype replication, is a production process that employs vacuum pressure to inject liquid polyurethane (PU) material into a silicone mould. It provides a budget-friendly alternative for the low-volume manufacturing of plastic components.
The procedure starts with producing a high-accuracy master pattern using CNC milling or SLA 3D printing. This master is then embedded in liquid silicone; after the silicone fully solidifies, the master is carefully removed to create a flexible, reusable mould.
In a vacuum environment, liquid PU resin is cast into the mould. The vacuum eliminates trapped air and guarantees complete detail reproduction. Once cured, the part is demolded, resulting in an exact duplicate of the master. Each silicone mould can typically produce around 20 parts before replacement.
